From 17 to 19 July 2025, the Department of Consumer Goods Industry organised an advanced technology and equipment training programme for the textile and light industry in Xi’an. This initiative aimed to enhance professional exchanges and strengthen the capacity of industry managers to guide and propel sectoral development under evolving circumstances. Nearly 40 officials responsible for relevant work from the industrial and information technology authorities of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the training.
During the training, experts from the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Donghua University, and the China National Textile and Apparel Council delivered in-depth presentations on topics including the foreign trade landscape of the textile sector, applications of biomanufacturing technologies, trends in advanced technologies and equipment, and cluster-based development. This training facilitated enhanced exchange of professional experience among participants, effectively fostering collaborative efforts to advance the higher-quality development of the textile and light industry.
